Practing for the PGA

Well I know it has been almost a month since I have posted. Yes, I am totally slacking at blogging, but I promise I will do better this month.
Josh was off of work about 2 weeks ago because of all of the rain and it was the beginning of my summer vacation. He got the bright idea that we go golfing. Let me fore warn you that I am pretty good at most sports, but in golf I am what you would say to be well below average.
Before setting out to totally embarrass myself, we had to go buy me some golf clubs. (As you can tell, I do not play golf much.) After our trip to Wal-Mart, I was ready for our day at the course. I had clubs, a box of balls, and a golf glove. I looked like a pro, but can guarantee that I didn't play like one.
The course was pretty wet, but we didn't care. The first couple of holes I would hit a couple of shots and then just pick up my ball and get back in the golf cart. I knew going in that it would probably take 8 shots to get my ball to the pin, so there were times that I would pick up the ball and throw it as far as I could. I mean I am good at softball, so why not merge the two sports together?
Josh on the other hand is quite good. He would get mad would make a bad shot, but when I made a bad shot (almost every time) we would both laugh. All in all, we had a ton of fun and enjoyed spending the time together.
Here are the pictures and a video. I hope you enjoy them.

As you can tell I am not on the fairway. This this where my ball landed most of the time.

I'm glad that you would go! Josh wants me to go some time, but I do not want to waste our precious money on me making a fool of myself!

I want to get together soon. Maybe you can ride over and spend a day with us this week or next.
